Greetings!

I have joined as Principal of Shanti Niketan Sr Sec School , Balotra and seek your co-operation in shaping the future of our children!

To introduce in brief, I am double Post Graduate , holding degree in Zoology and IT (Informatics Practices ), and have experience of more than 25 years in the field of education.

Each child is like a delicate creeper and the responsibility lies with us to give them proper support and make them know the right way to grow. Education is not learning by rote and then repeating it in the examination. We believe that learning is a continuous process, and at Shanti Niketan Sr Sec School, Balotra we are endeavoring to provide a platform where our students, teachers and staff are striving towards the goal of excellence.

Our approach is student centered and goes beyond text books, class rooms and boundaries. Students develop practical skills, enabling them to apply their learning to unfamiliar situations and then critically thinking about different issues. This prepares them for a lifelong success. Let us learn from the shortcomings in the past and design a way forward to take this school to the heights envisioned.

1. In this context, I urge you to follow given schedule for visiting school to meet teachers and Principal:

• Principal: 11 am to 12:30 pm; Monday to Friday (or with prior appointment)
• Teachers: With prior appointment (as they have classes and academics would suffer if they come to meet you, so they will give you time as per their free period)

2. We are into making an Endeavour to streamline processes in school where it has been observed that being busy in your job/business, at times you tend to forget paying your ward/s’ fee on time....

This in turn affects school working as salaries have to be paid timely and day to day running expenses can’t be deferred.

I’m sure none of Shanti Niektan School, Balotra parents would be defaulters, and this is just to set systems in place...
